Chennai Traffic Police have issued a traffic alert for major diversions on GST Road from April 20 to April 22, in light of the construction of a 4-lane elevated corridor. During this period, vehicles will be redirected through alternative routes including Cenotaph Road, Turnbulls Junction, and C.P. Ramaswamy Road. In order to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic, certain roads will be designated as one-way, and parking will be restricted on specific stretches. These measures have been put in place to manage traffic efficiently during the trial period of the construction project. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their travel routes accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
