Ethereum-based real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform Blocksquare has partnered with Vera Capital, a Florida-based real estate company, to offer fractional ownership in a pipeline of US commercial properties valued at over $1 billion. The collaboration aims to launch a marketplace in the upcoming weeks to enable global investors to purchase tokenized shares in numerous properties across seven US states. The initial tokenized properties available for investment are part of Vera Group’s current holdings, including a three-story office building in Fort Lauderdale and a retail plaza in Dania Beach. Vera Capital, a subsidiary of Vera Group, manages a South Florida real estate agency, real estate management company, and a real estate investment fund with over $100 million invested in commercial property acquisitions, land development, and residential developments. The $1 billion target set by Vera Group involves tokenizing existing assets and funding development projects, with plans to tokenize two unit complexes valued between $70 and $100 million. Blocksquare has previously tokenized around 150 properties in 28 countries, amounting to over $145 million. The platform launched an EU-compliant framework in February 2025, allowing property owners to tokenize economic rights tied to real estate through notarized agreements. Blocksquare CEO Denis Petrovic mentioned ongoing research to adapt the Luxembourg framework for US operations, providing added convenience for a US-based marketplace like Vera Group. This collaboration highlights the increasing trend of real estate tokenization and the potential it offers for global investors.
