Goa police recently apprehended Mohammad Sameer, a Kerala native, on charges of illegal possession of more than 110g of potent micro-LSD liquid estimated to be valued at Rs 11 crore. Sameer, who managed a guesthouse in the popular tourist destination of Baga, was arrested during a sting operation conducted by law enforcement officers. The operation unfolded when Sameer allegedly attempted to sell the illicit substance to an undercover decoy customer. The arrest highlights the ongoing efforts of the authorities to crack down on drug-related activities in the region.
