India’s private sector witnessed significant growth in April, hitting an eight-month high fueled by robust demand and a surge in foreign orders, especially for manufactured goods. The Composite PMI surged to 60.0, marking the most substantial expansion since August, with manufacturing reaching a one-year peak. The increase in new export orders led to a rise in output and employment in both the manufacturing and service industries.
