Security forces in India engaged in an encounter with terrorists in the Tangmarg area of Kulgam. This operation came in the wake of a tragic terrorist attack in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, claiming the lives of 28 individuals, including tourists and a member of the Indian Navy. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has pledged a robust and decisive response to such acts of violence. Authorities have released sketches of three Pakistani suspects believed to be involved in the attack – Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha.
