“Dorsia Luxury App Partners with MoonPay for Crypto Payments in US, UK, Europe, and Arab Nations”

Luxury hospitality platform Dorsia has partnered with MoonPay to introduce crypto payments for customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and six Arab nations. Through this collaboration, users can now use USDC and Solana-based tokens to book luxury travel experiences directly within the Dorsia app. Dorsia’s founder and CEO, Marc Lotenberg, mentioned that integrating crypto payments aligns with the evolving preferences of their members. The move makes Dorsia the latest high-end brand to embrace crypto services, following a trend in the luxury industry’s exploration of Web3 technologies like NFTs and metaverses. Other luxury brands, such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Patek Philippe, have also started accepting cryptocurrency payments. Dorsia differentiates itself with a membership-based system for reservations at exclusive facilities, aiming to tap into the growing luxury travel market projected to reach $2.3 trillion by 2030. The company has secured $50.4 million in funding from investors like Index Ventures, RedSea, and individuals from Meta and Uber. MoonPay, the partner behind Dorsia’s crypto payments, has experienced significant growth, with a 112% increase in net revenue in 2024 and a 123% surge in transaction volume in Q1 2025. MoonPay’s recent acquisition of Solana-based payment processor Helio for $175 million has expanded its partnerships, enabling collaborations with brands like Dorsia. The company has also acquired Iron to facilitate stablecoin payments for merchants. This strategic expansion aligns with MoonPay’s vision to provide seamless crypto payment solutions to a broader range of businesses.
