Following a personal invitation from Home Minister Amit Shah, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is set to attend the all-party meeting on the Pahalgam terror attack. Owaisi had previously urged PM Modi to invite all parties, regardless of parliamentary strength, underscoring the importance of national unity in the fight against terrorism. The meeting aims to address the heinous attack in Jammu & Kashmir, which resulted in the tragic deaths of 28 tourists, amidst crucial diplomatic activities and escalating tensions with Pakistan. Owaisi’s participation comes in the wake of his criticism of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s alleged comment about excluding smaller parties from the meeting.
