Saab’s Quarterly Earnings Skyrocket Amid European Defence Boost, US Tariff Uncertainties Loom

Swedish defence company Saab has reported a substantial increase in quarterly earnings and record-breaking sales, driven by the rise in European defence budgets due to geopolitical tensions. However, the company is facing uncertainties due to the tariff policies of US President Trump. Saab’s net profit soared by 53% to 1.2 billion kronor, while its operating profit reached an all-time high of 1.5 billion kronor. The company’s success can be attributed to the growing demand for defence equipment in Europe.
