In a disturbing incident in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh, four tribal girls, three of whom are minors, were gang-raped by a group of seven men following a wedding reception on April 23. The girls were abducted while on their way back to their village. The perpetrators have been apprehended and are currently under police custody, charged with offenses under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, POCSO Act, and SC/ST Act.
