In a disturbing incident in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh, four tribal girls, three of whom are minors, were abducted and gang-raped by a group of seven men following a wedding reception on April 23. The girls were ambushed on their way back to their village. The perpetrators have been apprehended and are currently in police custody, charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, POCSO Act, and SC/ST Act.
