Goa’s Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, has declared the deportation of three Pakistani nationals holding short-term visas, while seventeen others with long-term visas will be under close monitoring. The state police have been tasked with identifying any illegal Pakistani residents within the region. Security measures have been intensified at crucial sites such as airports and railway stations. Additionally, authorities will conduct thorough verifications of migrants and tenants to ensure compliance with visa regulations. To further enhance surveillance, the Goa police will be conducting inspections on workers employed on trawlers and canoes. These stringent measures aim to bolster national security and prevent any potential threats posed by unauthorized individuals.
