In a tragic incident at a fireworks unit in Tamil Nadu, three workers lost their lives while two others were injured following a blast at the factory located in M Pudupatti near Sivakasi. The injured workers are currently undergoing treatment at the Sivakasi government hospital. The explosion in one of the working sheds also led to damage in five other sheds on the premises. Fire and rescue teams are on-site working to contain the fire caused by the blast. This unfortunate event has once again brought attention to the safety measures and protocols that need to be strictly followed in such hazardous industries.
