Indian Banks to Close on April 26th; Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka Banks to Observe Additional Closures in April 2025

Indian banks, both public and private sectors, will remain closed on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) bi-monthly weekend closure policy. Furthermore, banks in Himachal Pradesh will observe a holiday on April 29th in honor of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Jayanti, while Karnataka banks will be closed on April 30th for Basava Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya. This closure is part of the regular banking holiday schedule followed by financial institutions across India. Customers are advised to plan their banking transactions accordingly and utilize online banking services during these closures.
