It is believed that Thokar underwent radicalization in Pakistan before returning to India to orchestrate the brutal assault. Despite his family’s assertion that he has been missing since 2018, law enforcement agencies consider him a pivotal figure in the heinous crime and have announced a reward for information leading to his apprehension.
