A recent sting operation conducted in the vicinity of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow has brought to light a scandalous tout racket operating at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. The operation revealed that touts, in connivance with employees of Smart Chip Private Limited, were involved in the creation of fake identities in exchange for a fee. Upon conducting their own investigation, officials from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) corroborated the findings of the sting operation and have taken immediate action by launching additional probes into the matter and filing a First Information Report (FIR). This shocking revelation has raised serious concerns about the security and integrity of the Aadhaar system in India, prompting authorities to take swift measures to address the issue and prevent such malpractices in the future.
