A recent sting operation conducted in close proximity to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow has brought to light a flourishing tout racket operating within an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. The operation revealed that touts, working hand in glove with employees from Smart Chip Private Limited, were involved in the creation of fake identities in exchange for a fee. Following an investigation by officials from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the presence of these irregularities was verified, prompting the authorities to launch additional inquiries and register a First Information Report (FIR) in the matter.
