India and France have recently inked a momentous deal worth Rs 63,000 crore for the purchase of 26 Rafale Marine aircraft for the Indian Navy. The jets are set to operate from INS Vikrant, bolstering India’s maritime capabilities significantly. The agreement encompasses not only the aircraft but also includes provisions for weapons, training, and support. Deliveries of the Rafale Marine aircraft are anticipated to take place over a period ranging from 37 to 65 months.
