India and France have recently signed a crucial deal worth Rs 63,000 crore for the purchase of 26 Rafale Marine aircraft for the Indian Navy. These advanced jets are set to operate from INS Vikrant, significantly boosting India’s maritime capabilities. The contract encompasses not only the aircraft but also includes provisions for weapons, training, and support. Deliveries of the Rafale Marine aircraft are anticipated to take place within a span of 37 to 65 months.
