“India’s COVID-19 vaccine exports to resume, boosting global supply amid pandemic crisis”

The Indian government has recently announced new guidelines for international travelers arriving in the country in the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Under the new rules, all travelers, regardless of their vaccination status, will be required to submit a self-declaration form on the Air Suvidha portal before departure. Additionally, travelers must upload a negative RT-PCR test report on the portal, which must be conducted within 72 hours of the journey. Upon arrival in India, passengers will be subjected to a post-arrival COVID-19 test at the airport. Fully vaccinated travelers will be exempt from quarantine requirements, while those who are not vaccinated or partially vaccinated will have to undergo a mandatory seven-day quarantine. The guidelines also state that passengers coming from at-risk countries will have to undergo an additional seven-day home quarantine. The Indian government has taken these measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of its citizens. Travelers are advised to stay updated on the latest guidelines and comply with the regulations to avoid any inconvenience during their journey.
