Ajit Pawar has called for the strictest punishment in the Pune bus rape case, stating that the perpetrators deserve nothing less than death. Following the incident, 23 security guards were replaced at the Pune bus stand, and a search for the accused is currently underway. The Times of India reported that a woman was raped inside a parked state bus in Pune, just a few meters away from a police station, sparking outrage and demands for action from the National Commission for Women (NCW).
