Amnesty International has urged for the implementation of a worldwide, legally enforceable treaty to oversee the manufacturing and application of electric shock devices like stun guns and electric shock batons. The organization, supported by a coalition of more than 80 entities worldwide, is advocating for a treaty that ensures the trade and utilization of various law enforcement tools are free from any form of torture.
