The National Commission for Women (NCW) is gearing up to inaugurate 21 pre-marital counseling centers in nine states across India. These centers are being established to provide guidance and support to couples before they tie the knot, with the aim of promoting healthy and sustainable marriages. The states where these centers will be launched include Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala. The initiative is part of NCW’s efforts to address issues related to marital discord, domestic violence, and other challenges faced by married couples. By offering counseling and advice before marriage, the hope is to equip couples with the tools and knowledge needed to build strong and lasting relationships.
