In a recent development, the Indian government has announced new guidelines for international travelers arriving in the country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued a set of protocols that must be followed by all passengers arriving from abroad. As per the guidelines, travelers will need to submit a self-declaration form on the online portal www.newdelhiairport.in at least 72 hours before their scheduled travel. Additionally, travelers must upload a negative RT-PCR test report on the portal before boarding the flight. Upon arrival in India, passengers will be required to undergo another RT-PCR test at the airport at their own cost. They will then have to wait for the test results in a designated area. If the result is negative, they will be allowed to proceed to their final destination. However, if the result is positive, they will be isolated as per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. These new guidelines have been put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of the general public. Travelers are advised to carefully read and follow the instructions provided by the authorities to avoid any inconvenience during their journey. The government continues to monitor the situation closely and may introduce additional measures if necessary.
