Chennai’s Officers Training Academy (OTA) recently saw 169 cadets passing out, including a widow and a former food delivery agent. The passing out parade was a proud moment for the cadets as they officially became officers in the Indian Army. The widow, Mrs. Anitha, decided to join the army after her husband, who was in the army, passed away. Her determination and commitment paid off as she successfully completed the training at OTA. Another inspiring story is that of Mr. Karthikeyan, a former food delivery agent, who dreamt of serving the nation and worked hard to achieve his goal of becoming an army officer. The cadets underwent rigorous training at OTA, which included physical fitness, weapons training, and leadership development. The passing out parade was a grand event attended by family members and senior army officials. The cadets took an oath to serve the nation with dedication and uphold the values of the Indian Army. The stories of Mrs. Anitha and Mr. Karthikeyan serve as a reminder of the determination and perseverance required to achieve one’s dreams. The OTA in Chennai has once again produced a batch of dedicated and committed officers who are ready to serve the country with pride.
