A fire broke out at Raj Bhandar, a popular sweet shop located in Pratap Nagar, Nagpur. The incident, which occurred on Friday morning, was caused by a blast in the air compressor of a deep freezer. Fortunately, since the shop was closed at the time, there were no casualties reported. Firefighters responded promptly and managed to contain the blaze by 12:10 pm, averting any further damage to neighboring properties. Initial estimates suggest that the shop incurred losses amounting to approximately Rs20 lakh. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures in commercial establishments.
