A fire broke out at Raj Bhandar, a popular sweet shop located in Pratap Nagar, Nagpur. The fire was triggered by a blast in the air compressor of a deep freezer. Fortunately, the incident took place on a Friday morning when the shop was closed, and hence, there were no casualties reported. Firefighters promptly responded to the scene and successfully brought the blaze under control by 12:10 pm, preventing it from spreading to neighboring properties. The estimated losses from the fire are around Rs20 lakh. The quick action taken by the firefighters helped in minimizing the damage caused by the fire. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures in commercial establishments to prevent such accidents.
