A 42-year-old tourist guide, Venkatesan, was apprehended on charges of sexually assaulting a 46-year-old French woman in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvannamalai. The alleged incident took place at a meditation spot on Arunachala hill. Following the victim’s report, the French Consulate was notified, prompting the All Women Police to take swift action culminating in the suspect’s arrest.
