Airtel and Reliance Jio have recently unveiled partnerships to promote Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite internet service in India, subject to regulatory clearances. The collaboration is geared towards bolstering network coverage, particularly in underserved rural and remote regions with limited connectivity. Although satellite internet services are anticipated to offer improved access, they may come at a higher cost and primarily target enterprise segments in the initial phase.
