A fire broke out at Gwalior’s Kamla Raja Hospital in the gynaecology and obstetrics department following an explosion of an air-conditioner unit in the labour room, leading to the evacuation of approximately 190 patients, comprising women and children, who were promptly shifted to a nearby healthcare facility. District officials have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the blast and subsequent fire outbreak.
