Asif Khan, a man who impersonated a police officer and extorted money and valuables from couples in Bengaluru for 15 years, has finally been apprehended by the Jayanagar police. The elaborate scheme orchestrated by Khan targeted 19 victims before his arrest. Following the capture of Khan, authorities were able to recover a substantial amount of gold and money. It is believed that there may be more individuals who have fallen victim to Khan’s scams, and officials are encouraging anyone else affected to come forward and file complaints. The fraudulent activities of Khan have come to light after years of deceit, shedding light on the importance of vigilance against such criminal activities.
