India recently acquired significant historical artefacts and documents associated with Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa’s Phoenix Settlement Trust-Gandhi Development Trust. The External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, accepted these items, which will be showcased at the National Gandhi Museum in New Delhi. This collection serves to uphold Gandhi’s legacy and his pivotal role in advocating for non-violent resistance against racial discrimination.
