In an intense encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, three terrorists and three police officers were killed, while seven others, including a deputy superintendent, sustained injuries. The clash, marked by heavy gunfire and explosions, was aimed at militants affiliated with the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad group. Operations were temporarily suspended for the night but are scheduled to recommence at dawn on Friday.
