Khatib, who had previously been in Akola, returned to Nagpur to celebrate Eid, where he was identified through CCTV footage linking him to inciting violent mobs. This arrest marks the third significant apprehension after Fahim Khan and Hamid Engineer. The charges against Khatib and Qazi include allegations of rioting, arson, and molestation.
