Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) turned into net sellers of Rs 1,27,401 crore in FY2025, however, their selling activities saw a decline in March. On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) purchased Rs 6,06,368 crore worth of assets during the year. The altered approach of FIIs in March played a role in the upward movement of Nifty. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) introduced a fresh threshold for disclosures related to beneficial ownership, while the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) raised the investment limit to enhance market liquidity.
