The United Kingdom has launched a new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) permit for European travelers, which is priced at £10 and will increase to £16 starting April 9. The ETA is designed to strengthen security measures and streamline entry processes through background verifications and quicker border crossings. This permit is valid for a period of two years and is currently applicable to around 30 countries, with the exception of Ireland. The introduction of the ETA is expected to facilitate smoother and more efficient travel for visitors to the UK.
