The United Kingdom has recently launched a new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) permit for European travelers, which is priced at £10 and will increase to £16 starting April 9. The main goal of the ETA is to improve security measures and streamline the entry process by conducting background checks and facilitating quicker border crossings. This authorization will be valid for a period of two years and is currently applicable to around 30 countries, with the exception of Ireland. The introduction of the ETA system is expected to make travel to the UK more efficient and secure for visitors from European nations.
