The Gujarat High Court imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on Vishwa Varsani for contempt of court as he was caught smoking during a virtual courtroom session. Varsani accepted his error, stating he was unaware of being visible. This incident comes after two other litigants were also fined recently for inappropriate behavior during virtual hearings.
