Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate the new Pamban Rail Bridge in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. This 2.07-kilometre-long vertical lift railway sea bridge is set to revolutionize rail connectivity between mainland India and Rameswaram Island. Constructed at a staggering cost of more than Rs 535 crore, the bridge facilitates high-speed train transportation and guarantees seamless maritime navigation.
