The Rajasthan forest department has come under scrutiny for permitting a private event within Ranthambore Fort past sunset, in violation of National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) guidelines. The event, which included vehicles blaring loud music systems, has raised serious concerns regarding the conservation of tigers in the area. State agriculture minister Kirori Lal Meena has expressed his disapproval of the incident, calling for a thorough investigation to identify and hold accountable the officials responsible for allowing the event to take place.
