PM Modi shares aerial video of Ram Setu, celebrates divine coincidence with Ram temple ceremony on Ram Navami

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently returned from Sri Lanka, took to social media to share an aerial video of the Ram Setu, also known as Adam’s Bridge, a chain of limestone shoals between Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, off the southeastern coast of Tamil Nadu, India, and Mannar Island, off the northwestern coast of Sri Lanka. In a divine coincidence, the Prime Minister noted that the alignment of the Ram Setu with the ‘surya tilak’ ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami was significant. PM Modi extended warm greetings to the nation on the occasion of Ram Navami and emphasized the unifying force of Lord Ram for the country. The Ram Setu holds immense mythological and historical significance in Hindu culture, believed to have been built by Lord Ram and his army of vanaras to reach Lanka in the epic Ramayana. The Prime Minister’s gesture of sharing the aerial view of the Ram Setu resonated with many Indians, highlighting the cultural and religious importance of the ancient bridge. The post garnered widespread attention on social media, with many praising the Prime Minister for his acknowledgment of the religious sentiments associated with the Ram Setu and Ayodhya. PM Modi’s message of unity and reverence for Lord Ram struck a chord with millions of devotees across the country, further solidifying the significance of the Ram Setu in Indian mythology and heritage.
