IndiGo flight diverts to Chikalthana Airport as elderly passenger falls ill and dies, resumes journey after medical emergency.

An emergency landing was conducted at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar’s Chikalthana Airport for an IndiGo Airlines flight traveling from Mumbai to Varanasi due to a medical emergency involving a passenger named Sushila Devi, aged 89, from Mirzapur. Unfortunately, despite medical intervention, Sushila Devi passed away upon arrival at the airport. Following the completion of required formalities, the flight was able to continue its journey to Varanasi.
