In a historic first, 40 government school girls from Bhandara district embarked on a journey to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in an effort to inspire and encourage young minds towards science and technology. The initiative was a part of the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign aimed at promoting girl child education and empowerment. The girls were selected based on their academic performance and interest in science, with the aim to provide them with exposure to the world of space research and technology.
