The Telangana High Court has upheld the death penalty for five Indian Mujahideen operatives in connection with the 2013 Dilsukhnagar blasts case. The court rejected their appeal and affirmed their involvement in the twin bombings that resulted in the deaths of 18 individuals and left more than 100 others injured. Initially, the death sentences were pronounced by a special NIA court in Hyderabad back in 2016. The five convicts now face the ultimate punishment for their roles in the tragic incident.
