ADB projects India’s economy to grow at 6.7% in FY25; RBI revises forecast to 6.5%, citing domestic demand and rural income.

India’s economic growth is expected to reach 6.7% in the fiscal year 2025, with domestic demand, rural income growth, and moderating inflation acting as key drivers, as per the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has also revised its growth forecast to 6.5%. Important sectors such as services, agriculture, and manufacturing are anticipated to make substantial contributions to this growth. However, risks such as US tariffs and global economic uncertainty remain significant factors to consider.
