Telangana’s Firefighters Introduce Robotic Firefighters and High-Tech Fire Tender for Disaster Response in Hyderabad

Telangana Fire Disaster and Response Emergency and Civil Defence recently unveiled three ‘Rhyno Protect’ robotic firefighters and a state-of-the-art fire tender at HMDA Grounds in Hyderabad. These robots, designed to endure high temperatures, are capable of being operated remotely and come equipped with high-definition and thermal imaging cameras. The technologically advanced rescue fire tender, sourced from Slovenia, boasts more than 100 top-of-the-line lifesaving rescue tools and equipment. This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing firefighting capabilities in the region, ensuring a more efficient and effective response to emergencies. The introduction of these cutting-edge firefighting technologies underscores the commitment of Telangana authorities to bolstering disaster management and civil defense efforts.
