Chennai Traffic Police have issued a traffic alert for major diversions on GST Road from April 20-22 to facilitate the construction of a 4-lane elevated corridor. Motorists are advised that vehicles will be redirected through alternative routes including Cenotaph Road, Turnbulls Junction, and C.P. Ramaswamy Road. In order to maintain smooth traffic flow during this period, multiple roads will be converted to one-way routes, and parking will be restricted on specific stretches. These temporary changes aim to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient traffic management as the new corridor is being constructed.
