Telangana Fire Disaster and Response Emergency and Civil Defence recently unveiled three ‘Rhyno Protect’ robotic firefighters and a state-of-the-art fire tender at HMDA Grounds in Hyderabad. These cutting-edge robots are designed to brave extreme temperatures and can be controlled remotely while being equipped with high-definition and thermal imaging cameras for effective firefighting operations. The hi-tech rescue fire tender, imported from Slovenia, boasts over 100 top-of-the-line lifesaving rescue tools, further enhancing the state’s firefighting capabilities. This technological advancement marks a significant step towards improving the efficiency and safety of firefighting operations in Telangana.
