Telangana Fire Disaster and Response Emergency and Civil Defence recently unveiled three ‘Rhyno Protect’ robotic firefighters and a state-of-the-art fire tender at HMDA Grounds in Hyderabad. These robots, designed to endure intense heat, are capable of remote operation and come equipped with high-definition and thermal imaging cameras. The cutting-edge rescue fire tender, sourced from Slovenia, is stocked with more than 100 top-of-the-line lifesaving rescue tools and equipment. The introduction of these high-tech firefighting resources marks a significant advancement in the state’s firefighting capabilities, enhancing its preparedness and response to emergencies. This initiative underscores Telangana’s commitment to leveraging technology for the safety and security of its residents.
