Meethe Mein Kya Hai unveils first poster ahead of Netflix premiere
Ritwik Bhowmik and Rohini Hattangadi lead Meethe Mein Kya Hai, a Diwali family drama whose first poster precedes its October 30 Netflix premiere.
A household comes together in the first poster
Meethe Mein Kya Hai has unveiled its first poster ahead of an October 30 premiere on Netflix. The Hindi family drama is Radhika Bansal’s directorial debut and brings together an ensemble led by Ritwik Bhowmik and Rohini Hattangadi.
Bollywood Hungama reports that the story unfolds over four days of Diwali celebrations. The poster gathers a household into a single frame, introducing the family setting through which the film will explore everyday relationships. Utthan Capital presents the project, with Ajit Mohan producing.

Moneycontrol’s account traces Bansal’s move into filmmaking to her writing. She began by keeping a journal and gradually turned personal experiences into fictional stories. An earlier legal-drama screenplay attracted interest from streaming platforms but did not go into production.
According to the production account reported by Moneycontrol, she then wrote Meethe Mein Kya Hai in less than three months and took on directing despite having no previous experience on a film set. She set herself a year to make the project happen and completed it in eleven months. These details describe the filmmaker’s reported development process, rather than the family story depicted on screen.

Alongside Bhowmik and Hattangadi, the cast includes Ayesha Raza Mishra, Tarana Raja, Abhay Kaul, Gaurav K. Sharma and Vikram Bakshi. Bollywood Hungama describes a production combining established performers with newer faces, organised around a family-centred narrative.
The announced Netflix date is October 30. Moneycontrol says a trailer is still to come, so the first poster offers an introduction to the household rather than a full outline of its story. The film’s promotional positioning emphasises humour, relationships and shared celebrations; its finished treatment will become clear when it begins streaming.
