Prahaar launches Mumbai song with Emiway and Sunidhi

A new track ahead of the film

The makers of Prahaar have released Mumbai Sapno Ka Samandar, bringing rapper Emiway Bantai together with playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan. The Times of India and Bollywood Hungama report that the collaboration includes Chauhan exploring rap alongside Emiway.

The song arrives ahead of the film’s scheduled October 16 theatrical release. It is presented as a tribute to Mumbai, focusing on the city’s resilience and the ambitions of people who come there looking for opportunities. That positioning connects the music campaign with the setting and spirit of the film.

The musical collaboration

The reports credit Emiway Bantai and Swaalina with composition and performance, identify Memax with the music, and name Emiway as music director. T-Series presents the track. These credits describe the collaboration as announced in the release coverage.

In a statement reported by the two outlets, Emiway discussed the combination of different musical energies and said working with Chauhan brought a fresh element to the song. His description belongs to the artist’s account of the collaboration; it is not a claim about streaming numbers or chart performance.

Mumbai in the video and the film

Bollywood Hungama describes a music video that places Emiway in streets and other Mumbai locations, intercut with glimpses of Prahaar. The release coverage frames those visuals around the lives and aspirations of people drawn to the city.

Prahaar stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi and is directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware. Dinesh Vijan produces the film under Maddock Films. The music launch is a separate development from its earlier trailer publicity: the newly available song gives listeners another part of the soundtrack before the cinema opening.

For viewers, the distinction is straightforward. Mumbai Sapno Ka Samandar is now available, while the film itself remains scheduled for October 16. The release reports do not establish how either the song or the film will perform commercially.
